What's a Prediction Run?

We can't tell you the distance or the route.

We can tell you it will be somewhere between 5k and 8k.

On run morning, the distance will be posted and announced. When you pick up your Championchip, you will also submit your guess as to your expected finish time.

There are no outside indicators of pace allowed. That means NO WATCHES, HRM, GPS OR MP3 PLAYERS. You will have to rely on your own sense of pace.

We will do a neighbourly wrist check a few minutes before the actual start, just to make sure everyone is being honest.

Speed is not relevant which means you have as good a chance as anyone to win. All you need is self knowledge and a bit of luck is.

Results will be posted after the awards ceremony

The top 5 best guesses win.

Start time:	8 AM
Start/Finish Location:	Queen Elizabeth Dr. at Preston (aka Dows Lake).
Turnaround Location:	somewhere along Queen Elizabeth Dr.
Registration fee:	$25 BEFORE January 25th $35 between January 25th and February 12th February 13th, $45 NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION OR KIT PICK UP

THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY KIT PICK-UP. YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR KIT ON FRIDAY. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Arrive at the race site early as you will need time to calculate and submit your guess on Saturday morning.
