Well, IMC is over and done with for 2006.

A huge round of applause go out to the Team who made the journey out to Penticton this August.

Good races were had by some, and great races were had by a few more! And we’re sending TWO MORE to Kona for the Hawaii Ironman in October.

Mike Woodford crossed the line in a fantastic 9:58, and Paul McAneney was just 10min behind in 10:08. Both these hard working guys snagged Kona slots for their efforts.

A bit further down the line, Chris Macknie crossed in 10:18, also snagging a spot. Chris is not a full blown client, but he does swim with us.

Next up was Coach Rick, having a pretty tough day in 10:35. Lots of lessons were learned by him, and he can now say he has experience in the medical tent and with the procedure for intravenous fluid replacement.

Not far behind the Coach came new comer Ryan Cain in his first IM. At 11:02, Ryan was elated, but also knows (as does Rick) that he has a very bright future in the sport.

Not long afterwards, was associate member through swimming Zoe Panchen in 11:12, and she is now Kona bound thanks to her great ride.

And then came:
Claire Grasty, 11:35:40
Sheri McCready, 12:06:49
Chris White, 12:12:06
Martin Zollinger, 12:13:40, first IM
Steve McCready, 12:42:50
Kate Page, 13:05, first IM
Debbie Van Norman, 15:07:07
Sean Obrien finished his first Ironman at Penticton. Last year, he had some problems and was pulled off the course at 7 miles (okay, he collapsed and was carried). This year, he waltzed right on by to the finish line!
